| American Society for Training & Development (ASTD) is the world’s largest professional association dedicated to the training and development. This year, there were 8,000 participants from more than 70 countries participating in the ASTD 2011 International Conference & Exposition in Orlando, Florida, USA. There was an awards celebration whereby ASTD presented Excellence in Workplace Learning & Performance Awards to organizations from around the world commending them on outstanding initiatives which have made an impact to the people and organization development in their organizations. Hong Kong is proud to have two awards bestowed on two organizations – MTR Corporation Limited and Hong Yip Service Company Ltd. |

| In this sharing session, Peter Yip, President of ASTD Global Network Hong Kong will highlight some insights from the ASTD 2011 International Conference & Exposition. In addition, MTR Corporation Limited and Hong Yip Service Company Ltd will share how they developed and executed their initiatives which were deserving of the ASTD Excellence Awards. |
